It was a great app!!! For the first 5 minutes then I got the urge to smash the app creators head into the screen on the radio. Fix it asap!!!

Hey guys, I found it just as frustrating at first as most of the rest of you. However, heres how I got it all to work: I hooked it up via the auxiliary cable (not Bluetooth). I also downloaded all three: app radio, app radio live, EC touch. My main need was the map functionality. It works well with my Apple Maps. Hopefully pioneer will make this more intuitive and condensed down into one app in the future.

Makes the phone hot while running, works well just like on demos...thumbs up overall

They made it sound like it adds features not included in Apple CarPlay but it does nothing. The instructions are poorly done and no easy way to find compatible apps; plus there are only 3 or 4 compatible apps. Its a total waste.

should have some updates: unable to use the phone while it is plugged in, it is not allowed to run the app in the background. Should have Spotify integration and Waze integration.

Pioneer has few compatible apps and takes too long to update them

When will be available for synching Waze and Spotify App ? Live Radio should synch what is being showed on the screen instead of specific apps.

Thats it, no Waze or Spotify. 80% of people bought appradioone units because of Waze. Update it already, its been about 8 months since Appradioone was released!

Pioneer could do so much better .

This app makes the appradio head unit shine as it should have from the beginning. It is fast and a super clean interface with good looking graphics, fun but sharp. Gives you a sweet view of all the important stuff like nav, music, calendar. Integrates with the best navigation and internet radio services. Forget appradio mode, go appradio live!

Theres a few bugs to iron out (especially with the maps side). Eg. Car location doesnt stay centred to the map. Search doesnt find typed addresses. Switching back to North view doesnt work. Would also like to see options to add your own nav program rather than jumping out of AppRadioLive to do it.

Pro: New stylish UI Easy access to music source, map source, calendar and weather Con: Phone calls close the app, and you have set everything up again Map is slow when compared to built in GPS No MIXTRAX support (yet?) Summary: Made my head unit feel new again, and I hope they continue to improve when car play comes out.

AppRadioLive is a vast improvement over the AppRadio that I used previously with my Z150BH. Having said that it is still a poorly engineered piece of software. Hopefully Pioneer will continue to make improvements.

I have to switch back to CarMediaPlayer if I want to listen to a podcast? Why not just make podcasts accessible from AppRadioLIVE? Other than that, this app is amazing. Great work.

Vast improvement over previous but still lacks big time in station selection and though it appears to have a Favourites selector, there isnt any access to them in the player??? Go figure.

AppradioLive should continue with the "Now playing" song from the music App instead of keeping its own memory of where I left it off the last time AppradioLive was used. Imagine me listening to a serious beat, get in my car...connect to AppradioLive and guess what? I lose the beat... The flow is broken...Go figure!? I have to waste some precious time trying to recover and get in the same listening mode I was... Besides that huge glitch, this is a very good improvement and overall work.

Love the interface, but it has bugs with iPhone 5S. I cannot type anything (GPS) without crashing and I cannot select a playlist without crashing. Just wished those functions would work.
